Seyma is a Director, Editor and Assistant Editor based in London, with short films that have screened at festivals including Glasgow Short, Norwich, Bolton, Sunderland, In the Palace and NFFTY.

She began her filmmaking journey at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she directed MOVING, a short that was nominated for the Young Filmmakers Prize at Glasgow Short Film Festival.

Building on that momentum, she went on to make NEXT IN LINE, commissioned by Screen Scotland, which went on to win Best Film at Raindance Open Shorts.

Alongside directing, Seyma works closely with other filmmakers as an editor and assistant editor, with credits including the Screen Scotland funded documentary We Are Nature and assistant editor work on the studio feature 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple.
