Seyma is a Glasgow and London based Filmmaker whose short films have been selected at Glasgow Short, Norwich, Bolton, Sunderland, NFFTY and more. During her studies at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she made her first short, MOVING, which got nominated for the Young Filmmakers Prize at Glasgow Short Film Festival.

Her short film, NEXT IN LINE, got commissioned by Screen Scotland through the GMAC Little Pictures scheme, and won Best Film at Raindance Open Shorts.

In addition to her directorial work, Seyma collaborates with other filmmakers as an Editor and continues creating work that touches on womanhood and immigrant experience.
